Worn in the season in which AC Milan won the Serie A under Fabio Capello. The Italian champions proved especially strong in front of goal: the league's top scorer netted 11 goals, with further goals coming in the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup, for a total of 17 goals across all competitions. Milan's dominance extended across all three major competitions in which the team took part. Under Capello's management, Milan prevailed over their domestic rivals, confirming their status as one of Italy's top teams.
