The story behind the shirt

Under coach Massimiliano Allegri, AC Milan won Serie A 2010-11 in commanding fashion with 82 points from 38 matches (24 wins, 10 draws, 4 defeats). With 65 goals scored and only 24 conceded, the team put together an impressive record. Goal-scoring was spread widely across the squad: Alexandre Pato, Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimović shared the top scorer list with 14 goals each. The Rossoneri were dominant - the season opener against Lecce ended in a 4:0 home win, followed later by further standout performances such as the 4:0 home wins against Parma and the 3:0 victories over Brescia, Bologna and Napoli. With this Italian title, Milan returned to the top after two years away. A shirt from this season represents one of the most dominant Scudetto triumphs in recent Milan history.
