    Description

    This grey Away shirt by Nike comes from FC Barcelona's kitroom and was prepared for Roberto Trashorras, a product of the club's own youth system who made his way through La Masia's Cantera. His name and the number 31 are printed on the back. According to Transfermarkt, Trashorras only appeared once for Barcelona in the Champions League, in the qualifying match on 8 August 2001 - it's unclear whether this particular shirt was worn on that occasion or simply laid out in the dressing room. The model falls within the 1998-99 title-winning season, when Barcelona won the Spanish title under Louis van Gaal, but this piece, with its long-sleeved Away kit, appears from the printing to also cover the following seasons up to 2001, when Rexach and later Serra Ferrer managed the team. The condition is flawless, a cleanly preserved piece from a defining period in the club's history. Provenance: This shirt comes from the collection of a long-time Swiss collector who works with retroshirts.ch.
