Aston Villa achieved an outstanding fourth place in the 2023-24 Premier League season with 68 points from 20 wins, eight draws and ten defeats. Forward Ollie Watkins was the key figure with 19 league goals and 13 assists, supported by Leon Bailey with ten goals. Spectacular wins such as the 6-1 against Brighton and the 5-0 away at Sheffield United defined the season. In Europe, Villa impressed in the Conference League with a 4-0 win against Ajax, but were knocked out in the semi-final against Olympiacos Piraeus.
