The story behind the shirt

Ein Trikot aus der Zeit, als Aston Villa in der Premier League den 14. Platz belegte. Mit 13 Siegen, 6 Remis und 19 Niederlagen aus 38 Spielen sammelte Villa 45 Punkte und erzielte 52 Tore bei 54 Gegentoren. In der Offensive war O. Watkins mit 11 Toren bester Torschütze, gefolgt von D. Ings mit 7 Toren und J. Ramsey mit 6 Toren. Bei den Vorlagen führten E. Buendía und D. Ings mit je 6 Assists, L. Digne trug 4 Assists bei. Dazu kamen ein 4:0-Heimsieg gegen Southampton sowie ein 3:0-Erfolg gegen Everton. Im League Cup traf C. Archer viermal, zudem gewann die Mannschaft auswärts gegen Barrow mit 6:0.
