The story behind the shirt

FC Sion finished the 2017-18 season in the Super League in 6th place with 42 points from 36 games. Matheus Cunha scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists, while Marco Schneuwly and Adryan each contributed 7 goals. The season saw three coaches: Paolo Tramezzani started, was replaced by Gabri in October, who was in turn succeeded by Maurizio Jacobacci in February. In Europa League qualifying, Sion were eliminated by Suduva Marijampole (0-3 away).
