Top-Scorer war Jérémy Féret mit 11 Toren, gefolgt von Renato Alessandrini und Mehmet Erdinç mit je 10 Treffern. In der Coupe de la Ligue erreichte Rennes das Finale – nach Siegen gegen Nancy (3-2), Arles (1-0), Estac Troyes (2-1) und Montpellier (2-0) im Halbfinale – und unterlag dort Saint-Étienne mit 0-1.
