The story behind the shirt

A shirt from the season in which SC Bastia finished 17th in Ligue 1. Under manager Gérard Gili, the club played in three competitions: the French league, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue. Florian Maurice was the standout attacking threat, scoring nine goals in the Coupe de la Ligue and also finding the net nine times in the Coupe de France. In the league, Maurice was the team's top scorer with eight goals.
