Liverpool finished the 2012-13 Premier League season in 7th place with 61 points from 38 games (16 wins, 13 draws, 9 losses). Luis Suárez was top scorer with 23 goals, followed by Daniel Sturridge with 10 and James Henderson with 5 goals. The Reds won 5-0 against Norwich and Swansea, 6-0 away against Newcastle, as well as 4-0 against Fulham and Wigan. In the League Cup, Liverpool were eliminated in the round of 16 against Swansea, losing 1-3, while in the FA Cup they reached the next round, with Suárez the top scorer with 2 goals.
