      The story behind the shirt

      Rangers played in the Scottish Premiership in 2011-12 under manager Ally McCoist and finished 2nd with 73 points from 38 games. Top scorer was Nikica Jelavic with 14 goals, followed by Sone Aluko (12) and Steven Naismith (9). Steven Davis contributed 13 assists. The club also reached the Round of 16 in the Scottish League Cup and SFA Cup and competed in the Champions League.
