    With this Match Prepared goalkeeper shirt from Davide Taini of Grasshopper Club Zürich from the 2011-12 season, you're getting a genuine collector's item for your wardrobe! The shirt was acquired by Retroshirts through a personal contact with connections in Swiss football, to whom the shirt was personally handed by the player. It's unclear whether the shirt merely hung in the changing room, was used for warming up, or was worn in a match. However, the shirt has the features of a match shirt: the league sponsor on the right chest and the Super League patch on the left sleeve. The shirt has several pinhole-sized holes, as the original owner had hung this shirt on the wall. Apart from that, the shirt is in very good condition, which is why we consider it unlikely that it was worn in a match.

      The story behind the shirt

      Grasshopper Zürich belegte in der Super League 2011–12 unter Trainer Ciriaco Sforza den achten Platz und sammelte aus 34 Spielen 26 Punkte. Steven Zuber war mit acht Toren und vier Assists der Leistungsträger, Innocent Emeghara steuerte fünf Tore bei. Im Schweizer Cup erreichte der Klub das Viertelfinale. Sforza wurde im Anschluss durch Uli Forte ersetzt.
