      FC Zürich dominierte die Saison 2021–22 und sicherte sich souverän die Meisterschaft in der Super League. Mit 76 Punkten aus 36 Spielen und einer Tordifferenz von +32 setzte sich das Team von Trainer André Breitenreiter an die Spitze. Assan Ceesay war der überragende Offensivakteur mit 20 Toren und zehn Assists, unterstützt von Antonio Marchesano (13 Tore) und Wilfried Gnonto (8 Tore). Adrián Guerrero steuerte elf Assists bei.
