The story behind the shirt

Sevilla finished the 2009-10 season in La Liga in fourth place with 63 points from 38 matches. Luís Fabiano (15 goals), Frédéric Kanouté (12 goals) and Álvaro Negredo (11 goals) impressed going forward. Jesús Navas contributed 13 assists. After the change of manager from Manolo Jiménez to Antonio Álvarez in March, the club reached the intermediate round of the Champions League.
