The story behind the shirt

A shirt from the time when Middlesbrough played in the Championship. Under manager Tony Mowbray, the team finished 16th in the league. Scott McDonald was the club's top scorer in the league with 12 goals, while he also scored regularly in the cup competitions. Middlesbrough took part in both the FA Cup and the League Cup that season.
