The story behind the shirt

FC Luzern achieved 2nd place in the Swiss Super League in the 2011-12 season under coach Murat Yakin, coming close to the championship title. Nelson Ferreira was the key player with 7 league goals and 9 goals in the Swiss Cup. In the 2012-13 season, Luzern played under Ryszard Komornicki (until April) and then Carlos Bernegger, finishing in 8th place. Daniel Gygax became top scorer with 7 league goals and 8 cup goals, and the club also competed in the UEFA Europa League. The 2013-14 season under Carlos Bernegger brought 4th place in the league. Dimitar Rangelov scored 11 goals in the league and cup, shaping the campaign. A shirt from these years represents one of the most ambitious periods in FC Luzern's recent club history.
