This shirt is from the season in which Eintracht Frankfurt won the UEFA Europa League. In the Bundesliga, Eintracht finished eleventh with 42 points from 34 games. The European competition was significantly more successful: Frankfurt went through the group stage unbeaten and secured first place with 12 points from 6 games. In the knockout rounds, a historic run followed - the Eagles beat Barcelona in the quarter-final (1-1 at home, 3-2 away) and West Ham in the semi-final (2-1 away, 1-0 at home), before winning the final against Rangers Glasgow. The top Bundesliga scorer was Rafael Borré with 8 goals, followed by Jesper Lindstrøm with 5.
