A shirt from the season in which Young Boys led the Swiss Super League. In the league, the team dominated with 46 points from 21 matches and an outstanding goal difference of 49:21. Several forwards shone: Hoarau scored 15 goals, Nsame contributed 13 goals and Assalé 12 goals. With impressive performances such as a 6:1 home win against St. Gallen and a 5:1 victory against Sion, the team underlined its ambitions. Internationally, Young Boys took part in the Champions League and, after being eliminated, played in the Europa League, where the team collected three points in six matches and stood out with Fassnacht, Moumi Ngamaleu and Hoarau.
