The story behind the shirt

AS Roma finished Serie A 2018-19 under coach Claudio Ranieri with 66 points in 6th place. Edin Džeko scored nine league goals and five Champions League goals, while El Shaarawy notched up eleven goals for the season. In the Champions League, Roma were knocked out in the round of 16, and in the Coppa Italia in the quarter-final.
