The story behind the shirt

A shirt from the time when AS Roma finished twelfth in Serie A. During that season, the head coach role was shared between Carlos Bianchi, who was in charge until April 1997, and Nils Liedholm, who took over the team afterwards. The Romans' top scorer was an Argentine striker with 17 league goals. Further goals were added in the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup.
