Celtic sicherte sich in der Saison 2011–12 unter Trainer Neil Lennon die schottische Premiership-Meisterschaft mit 93 Punkten und einer Tordifferenz von 63. Gary Hooper war mit 24 Saisontreffern erfolgreichster Torschütze, Kris Commons steuerte 12 Assists bei, Anthony Stokes prägte die Offensive ebenfalls maßgeblich. Der Klub erreichte zudem das Finale des Scottish League Cup sowie die Halbfinals des SFA Cup. Ein Trikot dieser Saison steht für eine der dominantesten Meisterschaftsleistungen in der jüngeren Geschichte des Klubs.
