Dieses Trikot stammt aus der Saison, in der Valencia in der Champions League die Achtelfinals erreichte. Unter Trainer Celades belegte der Klub in La Liga mit 53 Punkten aus 38 Spielen den neunten Platz und erzielte 46 Tore bei 53 Gegentoren. M. Gómez war mit zehn Toren bester Torschütze, gefolgt von Dani Parejo mit acht und K. Gameiro mit sechs Treffern. Beim Torvorlagenzweikampf führte Rodrigo mit sieben Assists an, während D. Wass sechs und Ferran Torres fünf Vorlagen gab. In der Königsklasse gelang Valencia eine starke Gruppenphase mit drei Siegen und zwei Unentschieden aus sechs Spielen, schied aber in den Achtelfinals gegen Atalanta aus (1-4 auswärts, 3-4 zuhause).
