Hoffenheim spielte 2010/11 in der Bundesliga und erreichte Platz 11 mit 43 Punkten aus 34 Spielen (11 Siege, 10 Unentschieden, 13 Niederlagen). Gylfi Sigurðsson war mit 9 Toren Topscorer, gefolgt von Vedad Ibišević mit 8 und Demba Ba mit 6 Treffern. Zu den markanten Ergebnissen zählten ein 4:1 gegen Werder Bremen zum Auftakt, ein 4:0 zuhause gegen Hannover 96 und ein 4:0 auswärts bei Eintracht Frankfurt.
