The Swiss centre-back was the calm bulwark in Liverpool's defence from 1999 to 2005, forming one of the most reliable defensive duos in the Premier League alongside Sami Hyypiä. Henchoz cleared everything up, without any fuss - exactly the type of defender that's hardly seen anymore today. Highlight: the cup treble in 2001 with the FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup (and the legendary handball moment in the FA Cup final against Arsenal that the referee never saw).
