    With this home shirt from FC Zürich, prepared for Alain Nef for the 2018 Swiss Cup final, you're getting a genuine collector's item from a club legend for your wardrobe! The shirt was prepared for the Swiss Cup final on 27 May 2018 against BSC Young Boys, a match Alain Nef missed through injury and had to celebrate the final result of 2:1 from the bench. Retroshirts' contact comes from close within FC Zürich's club environment and received this shirt, along with all their other shirts, personally from the players. The shirt shows the features of a match shirt: the Swiss Cup patch on the left sleeve, the Cup sponsor on the right chest, the printed date of the match, and FC Zürich's Cup sponsor (Beelegal) at the front centre. Since Alain Nef was injured, this shirt was certainly never used in the match. It is therefore in excellent, virtually like-new condition. Alain Nef began his professional career at FC Zürich back in 2001 and played 108 matches for the Zurich side before his departure ahead of the 2006-07 season. He was part of the legendary team that won the club's first championship title on 13 May 2006 in an absolute thriller against FC Basel, playing 84 minutes in that match. He then moved to Serie B in Italy and later briefly to Serie A, before returning to Switzerland via loan spells at two smaller clubs in Spain and Italy, joining BSC Young Boys ahead of the 2010-11 season. Ahead of the 2013-14 season, Alain Nef returned to FC Zürich, experienced both promotion and relegation, and won a further three Cup titles with the Zurich side. Across his career, he played over 340 matches for FC Zürich, before ending his career at the close of the 2018-19 season. Today he continues to work for FC Zürich as assistant coach of the U19 team (as of April 2026). A beautiful collector's item from an FCZ legend!
