    This long-sleeved home shirt of FC Zürich is from the 1985-86 season, in which the team finished fourth in the Nationalliga A under Václav Ježek. On the back it carries the number 15, without a name. According to Transfermarkt data, Markus Schneider, a forward with 101 appearances, 28 goals and 3 assists for FCZ, wore this very number in the previous season - we assume he also wore it this season. The long-sleeved version from that era is considerably rarer than the short-sleeved models, making this over forty-year-old piece a distinctive collector's item. The chest features the sponsor Mediator, once a well-known Swiss brand for radios and televisions, which produced as a subsidiary of Philips in La Chaux-de-Fonds in order to get around the import duties of the time - a small piece of Swiss economic history on a football shirt.

      Dieses Trikot stammt aus der Saison, in der FC Zürich mit 39 Punkten den vierten Platz in der Nationalliga A belegte. Unter Trainer Václav Ježek absolvierte die Mannschaft 36 Spiele mit einer Bilanz von 16 Siegen, 10 Unentschieden und 10 Niederlagen. In der Saison 1985–86 nahm FC Zürich auch am Schweizer Cup teil. Im Intertoto Cup traf der Club in der Gruppenphase auf Sparta Praha, Lyngby BK und Lechia Gdańsk und sicherte sich den Titel als Intertoto-Cup-Sieger 1985.
