The shirt was made according to the specifications of a player shirt: Aeroswift shirt technology with more breathable and closer-cut material, golden Nike label at the front bottom right as well as a heat-pressed club emblem and manufacturer logo. The 2017-18 season was extremely successful for the Catalans. They took home the double, winning both the Spanish league and the Copa del Rey. Lionel Messi contributed 34 goals and 14 assists in the league. In the Copa del Rey, he scored four goals and made four assists.
