The Blaugrana played their first season under star coach Pep Guardiola, who could look forward to a team full of superstars like Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi. This collaboration was extremely fruitful. The team won the treble with victories in La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. In the Champions League final, FC Barcelona took to the pitch in the home shirt, facing a powerful Manchester United side that had just won its third title in a row under Alex Ferguson and was itself chasing the double. Lionel Messi scored the 2:0 in the final, leaving the Red Devils with Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney disappointed. A great collector's item in very good condition.
