Arsenal beendete die Premier-League-Saison 2012–13 unter Arsène Wenger auf Platz vier mit 73 Punkten aus 21 Siegen, zehn Unentschieden und sieben Niederlagen. Théo Walcott war mit 14 Toren Torschützenkönig, gefolgt von Santi Cazorla und Olivier Giroud. In der Champions League scheiterte Arsenal in den Achtelfinals an Bayern München, siegte jedoch auswärts 2:0, nachdem es zuhause 1:3 verloren hatte.
