      Aberdeen spielte 1996–97 unter Roy Aitken in der schottischen Premier Division und belegte Platz 6 mit 44 Punkten aus 36 Spielen. Billy Dodds war mit 14 Toren Toptorschütze, Dean Windass kam auf 10 Treffer. Der Verein erreichte das Viertelfinale des Coca-Cola Cup, die zweite Runde des UEFA Cup sowie die dritte Runde des SFA Cup.

      So your shirt lasts - the essentials in short:

      • Wash inside out, zips closed, 30 °C gentle cycle, detergent for sportswear.
      • Never tumble dry - air dry. Do not iron (at most carefully with steam).
      • Soak stains beforehand (mild soap), never chlorine bleach.
      • Old shirts with brittle print/flock: as rarely as possible, and by hand only.
