Dieses Trikot stammt aus der Saison, in der Cardiff nach nur einem Jahr in der Premier League wieder abstieg. Die Mannschaft beendete die Liga-Saison 2013-14 auf dem 20. Platz mit 30 Punkten aus 38 Spielen (7 Siege, 9 Unentschieden, 22 Niederlagen) und kassierte 74 Gegentore bei nur 32 eigenen Treffern. Bester Torschütze war J. Mutch mit 7 Toren, gefolgt von F. Campbell mit 6 Toren und S. Caulker mit 5 Toren. G. Medel und W. Zaha verzeichneten jeweils eine Vorlage. Im FA Cup erreichte Campbell mit 3 Toren die meisten Treffer, im League Cup teilten sich mehrere Spieler jeweils ein Tor.
