    Away shirt from 1998, just as it was worn at the 1998 World Cup. The shirt carries the nameset of Romário - and behind it lies one of the greatest dramas in World Cup history: the world champion and superstar of 1994 was dropped from the squad by coach Zagallo just days before the tournament due to a muscle injury. Romário even offered to get fit just for the knockout stage - in vain. Brazil entered the 1998 World Cup as defending champions and were only stopped in the final, losing 0:3 to France. To this day, people speculate whether the story would have turned out differently with Romário. The shirt dates from the time when Romário played for Flamengo and, despite everything, was still among the best strikers in the world. A beautiful, rare collector's item with a special story!
