    Extremely rare Brazil home shirt from the years 1980-82, prepared for Switzerland's friendly international against Brazil on 21 December 1980 in Cuiaba. The shirt comes from a high-quality collection from the close circle around BSC Young Boys and reached Bern via the then YB and national team player Martin Weber. Martin Weber was part of the national team squad at the time, but sat on the bench for this match. According to Martin Weber's account at the time, the shirt was swapped after the match. In the years 1981-82, Roberto Dinamite wore the number 20, but he was not part of the squad for this particular friendly. It is therefore unclear who wore the number 20 in this match and whether the shirt was available as a spare shirt or was actually used in the match mentioned. Switzerland lost the friendly 2:0. Given its age, the condition of the shirt is very good. The slight wear and fading of colour in the back number and in the manufacturer and country emblem is not unusual for a shirt over 40 years old. The yellow colour of the fabric is also very nicely preserved. This extremely rare Brazil home shirt comes with a lovely story tied to Switzerland, making it a special item in any collection.
