Ein Trikot aus jener Spielzeit, in der der 1. FC Kaiserslautern unter Trainer Andreas Brehme in der Bundesliga den siebten Platz belegte. Miroslav Klose war mit 16 Toren bester Torschütze der Saison und prägte das Offensivspiel des Clubs nachhaltig. Neben der Bundesliga nahm Kaiserslautern auch am DFB-Pokal teil, konnte dort aber keinen Titel gewinnen. Unter Brehmes Regie absolvierte die Mannschaft eine solide Rückrunde.
