The 2010-11 season was very successful for FC Zürich under coach Urs Fischer. The team finished second in the Super League with 72 points from 36 games, achieving a goal difference of +30. The team was led by Dusan Predrag Djuric with 14 assists, while Alexandre Alphonse and Admir Mehmedi each scored ten goals. In the Swiss Cup, Zurich reached the semi-final. A shirt from this season represents one of the strongest campaigns of FC Zürich in the Super League era.
