    Description

    An unusual shirt in many respects from Servette FC's 1999-00 season. During our research, we could only find these blue/white shirts with the Golden Lion chest sponsor in the context of that season's Champions League qualification. However, this particular shirt has a Nationalliga A patch on the left arm, as used at the time for the top Swiss division. The shirt also has long sleeves. On the back is the number 12 and the surname of midfielder Lantame Ouadja, who scored 3 goals in 73 appearances for the Grenats between 1997 and 2001 (with interruptions). Because of the Nationalliga A patch, the long sleeves and the rare colour combination, we believe this shirt comes from the club's own stock and therefore categorise it as Player Issue. We have no information as to whether it was worn in a match.
