    A historic and extremely rare home shirt from Real Madrid from the 1984-86 seasons! This shirt comes directly from the club and is part of a high-quality collection from close to the BSC Young Boys. In 1986, BSC Young Boys played FC Real Madrid twice in the European Cup of that era. Bern sensationally won the first leg 1:0 with a header from Urs Bamert. In the return leg in Madrid on 1 October 1986, Bern then lost clearly 5:0. At one of these two matches, the then-president of Real Madrid, Ramón Mendoza, presented a representative of BSC Young Boys with this shirt from the preceding 1984-86 seasons. It is unclear whether this shirt was worn in a match or provided as a spare shirt. During this period, the number 15 was worn by Cholo (85/86), Isidoro San José (85/86), Jorge Valdano (85/86), Juanito (84/85 - 86/87) and Santillana (84/85 - 87/88). In the mid-1980s, FC Real Madrid found its way back to success by signing the Mexican football legend Hugo Sanchez and went on to dominate Spanish football from the 1985-86 season onwards. The "Los Blancos" won the Spanish championship five times in a row. Given the shirt's proud age, it is in excellent condition here, having been carefully kept by the previous owner over all these years. It shows only a few signs of wear, which are typical for its age. This is a high-quality and very rare collector's item.
