    With this prepared and signed Parma Calcio Goalkeeper shirt from the 2021-22 season, made for Gianluigi Buffon, you add a rarity from a legendary goalkeeper - along with his history - to your collection. A certificate of authenticity from SPORTCOA.com for Gianluigi Buffon's signature is included with the shirt. The shirt comes directly from the club's dressing room and was prepared for a match in the Italian Serie B. Retroshirts' contact was employed by a Super League club and received this shirt, along with all his other shirts, personally from the players. The shirt is in size XXL and, as is typical for match shirts, is cut extremely tight, so its measurements match those of a size L shirt. It's unclear whether the shirt merely hung in the changing room as a spare or was actually worn in a match. Given the shirt's very good condition, we assume it was the spare shirt. The Italian goalkeeper is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in history. He won the UEFA Cup with AC Parma in the 1998-99 season, claimed ten league titles with Juventus Turin, and reached the UEFA Champions League final three times with the "Old Lady". He played for the Italian national team from 1996 to 2018, winning the World Cup title in 2006 and becoming European runner-up in 2012. He also won the Italian Cup six times in total and became French champion with Paris St. Germain. Buffon was UEFA's Footballer of the Year in 2003 and was named FIFA's World Goalkeeper of the Year in 2017. He ended his long career in Serie B in 2023 at the age of 45 with Parma Calcio, where his golden career had once begun. A beautiful and rare collectible.
