    This Panathinaikos Athens Champions League shirt is a high-quality collector's item, the kind we're only rarely able to offer. The shirt comes directly from the club and was prepared for the German defender Markus Münch for a UEFA Champions League match in the 2004-05 season. The shirt shows all the characteristics of a match shirt: correct player size, UEFA Champions League patch on the right sleeve, two-layer fabric, and heat-pressed size details on the neck instead of a sewn-in label. Markus Münch played his final season as a professional in 2004-05. He joined Panathinaikos Athens for the 2003-04 season and scored five goals and provided 14 assists in 61 competitive matches. Before that, he played for FC Bayern Munich and FC Bayer Leverkusen from 1990-1998. He also played several seasons for Besiktas and Borussia Mönchengladbach before ending his career at Panathinaikos. The shirt came to Retroshirts through the family of a former professional player of FC Bayern Munich. At the time, the shirt was given directly by the team's coach to our contact as a gift.
