    This special home shirt of Bayern Munich from the 2016-17 title-winning season is no ordinary fan version: adidas produced it together with Parley for the Oceans from recycled ocean plastic, when Bayern first wore this special shirt on 5 November 2016 in the Bundesliga match against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (1:1). It was one of the early examples of how a major club brought ocean recycling material into an official match kit. That season, Bayern secured the Bundesliga title for the fifth time in a row, led by Robert Lewandowski, who scored the decisive goals with 30 strikes. This example in Kids XL carries no name on the back, but it does carry a piece of club history with an environmental message - in condition as new, straight out of the box.

      The story behind the shirt

      Dieses Trikot stammt aus der Saison, in der Bayern München zum fünften Mal in Folge die Bundesliga-Meisterschaft gewann. Mit 25 Siegen, 7 Unentschieden und nur 2 Niederlagen aus 34 Spielen sammelten die Münchner 82 Punkte und schossen 89 Tore. Robert Lewandowski war mit 30 Bundesliga-Toren Münchens Torgarant, gefolgt von Arjen Robben mit 13 Treffern und Joshua Kimmich mit 6 Toren. Thomas Müller führte die Assistenz-Statistik mit 12 Vorlagen an, während Franck Ribéry 11 Assists beisteuerte. Besonders eindrucksvoll waren mehrere hohe Siege: ein 8:0 gegen Hamburger SV, ein 6:0 gegen Werder Bremen zu Saisonbeginn und ein 6:0 auswärts gegen Wolfsburg. In der Champions League erreichte Bayern das Viertelfinale, scheiterte dort an Real Madrid. Im DFB-Pokal endete die Reise im Halbfinale gegen Borussia Dortmund. Den DFB-Supercup gewannen die Münchner mit einem 2:0-Sieg auswärts gegen Dortmund.
