The story behind the shirt

Under coach Ernesto Valverde, Espanyol Barcelona reached the UEFA Cup final in the 2006-07 season - a historic achievement for the club. Raúl Tamudo was top scorer with 15 goals, while Luis García contributed ten goals. Espanyol also reached the Supercopa final. In the league, the team finished 12th with 49 points. A shirt from this season represents one of the greatest European moments in the club's history.
