Pro League (United Arab Emirates)

The UAE Pro League, officially known as the ADNOC Pro League, has been the top football division of the United Arab Emirates since 1973. It is organised by the United Arab Emirates Football Association and comprises 14 teams. The record champion is Al Ain Club with 15 titles. The respective champion qualifies for the UAE Arabian Gulf Super Cup as well as the AFC Champions League. The league gained international attention when Al-Ahli took part in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2009 and reached the quarter-finals; Al-Wahda followed in 2010 after winning the title.
