Hong Kong has one of the oldest football traditions in Asia. The special administrative region's national team, managed by the Hong Kong Football Association, played its first international match back in 1947. With four appearances at the Asian Cup - including a third place finish on their debut in 1956 - the team has certainly had some remarkable moments. Record international and captain is Yapp Hung Fai with 112 appearances, while Chan Siu-ki holds the record for most goals with 40. Home matches are held at Hong Kong Stadium.
