Johann Vogel is a true GC veteran and started his career at the club in the 1992-93 season. He made the leap into international leagues early on. From the 1999-00 season he played for PSV Eindhoven and later moved to AC Milan, Real Betis Sevilla and Blackburn Rovers, before ending his career in the 2011-12 season at his home club GC Zürich. Johann Vogel played for the Swiss national team for a long time, making a total of 94 appearances. He took part in several World Cups and European Championships.
