The shirt comes from a high-quality collection close to BSC Young Boys and was personally handed over to the collection's owner by Alexander Farnerud himself. It therefore comes directly from the club. The shirt has the features of a match shirt: the Super League patch on the left sleeve and the league sponsor on the right chest. It's unclear whether the shirt merely hung in the dressing room as a spare shirt or was actually worn in a match. Given its excellent condition, we assume it was the spare shirt. The signature was compared with known authentic examples of Farnerud's signature. In our assessment, the signature is authentic. The Swedish midfielder played for the Bernese club from the 2010-11 season to the 2012-13 season. He scored 25 goals and made 17 assists in 104 appearances. He was extremely popular with the fans and was one of Young Boys' key players during this period. This also drew attention to him beyond Switzerland, and he was bought by Torino FC for a transfer fee of 2.5 million francs. He made a total of eight appearances for the Swedish national team.

Original football shirt of the club BSC Young Boys / BSCYB (nickname "Young Boys") from the Super League.

The product was made by Jako, is yellow/black and of the "Home" type from the 2012-13 season in size M.

The shirt is printed with the squad number #8.
