In these three seasons, the Bernese side finished the season in the Nationalliga A in fifth (78-79), tenth (79-80) and fifth (80-81) place. In the 1978-79 and 1979-80 seasons, the club reached the cup final each time, but lost both times, first to FC Servette and then to FC Sion. The shirt has a hand-applied mourning band on the left sleeve. We don't know the circumstances behind this. Unfortunately, it couldn't be conclusively determined who wore squad number 8 in this season. Given its age, the shirt is in fantastic condition!

Original football shirt of the club BSC Young Boys / BSCYB (nickname "Young Boys") from the Super League.

The product was made by Puma, is yellow/black and of the "Home" type from the 1978-81 season in size M.

The shirt has the squad number #8 printed on the back.

We rate this item as follows: Very good.

Details / additions: Many small bits of fluff on the front and back.
