The shirt comes directly from the club's dressing room and was prepared for a match during a training camp between FC Zürich and Borussia Dortmund. Retroshirts' contact was employed by a Super League club and received this shirt, along with all his other shirts, personally from the players. It's unclear whether the shirt merely hung in the changing room as a backup shirt or was actually worn in a match. Given the shirt's very good condition, we assume it was the backup shirt. Manuel Akanji is one of the best Swiss footballers of recent times. The Winterthur native has played almost continuously as a first-team regular at top clubs since his move into international football.
