The 1996-97 season is certainly a memorable one for the Borussia side. Although they had to hand the Bundesliga title back to their rivals from Munich after a two-year winning streak in the preceding seasons, they did manage to win the UEFA Champions League instead. In the UCL final, the Dortmund side, featuring stars like Swiss player Stéphane Chapuisat, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Andreas Möller, Matthias Sammer and Paulo Sousa, beat Juventus Turin 3:1. This marked the most recent triumph in the top European competition for Borussia to date (as of February 2026). A rare and visually striking vintage piece that recalls a phenomenal era in the club's history.

Original football shirt from the club Borussia Dortmund / BVB (nickname "Die Borussia") from the Bundesliga.

The product was made by Nike, is yellow/black and is a "Home" type from the 1996-97 season in size S.

We grade this item as follows: Very good.

Details / additions: A hole of approx. 2mm in the middle of the back.
