The Strongest

Club The Strongest was founded on 8 April 1908 in La Paz and is the oldest football club in Bolivia still in existence. The team plays its home matches at the Estadio Hernando Siles, Bolivia's national stadium with 42,000 seats. The club's colours, gold and black, have earned it the nickname Aurinegro. The Strongest is one of the most successful clubs in the country and has never been relegated from the top division since the Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano was founded in 1977.
