Founded on 5 March 1916 in Palma, RCD Mallorca is one of the best-known football clubs on the Balearic island of Mallorca. The club plays its home matches at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, which has been in use since 1999 and holds around 23,000 spectators. Before that, the club played at the Estadio Lluis Sitjar. The club colours are red, black and black - red shirts combined with black shorts and socks. RCD Mallorca currently plays in the Spanish Primera División.
