Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña was founded in 1906 in the Galician city of A Coruña and plays its home matches at the Estadio Riazor, which has a capacity of around 34,000 seats. The club's most successful period was in the 1990s and 2000s: during this time, Deportivo won the Spanish championship once and the Spanish Cup twice. On the European stage, the club reached the semi-final of the Champions League.
